Job Summary:
As a Project Officer, you will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of various projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing resources, ensuring compliance with project standards, and maintaining communication with stakeholders. The Project Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Job Description:
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure they are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and materials.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure stakeholder needs and expectations are addressed.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Provide regular reports on project progress, highlighting any deviations from the plan and corrective actions taken.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, including scheduling meetings and coordinating tasks.
- Assist in resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during project execution.
- Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
- 1 – 2 Years work experience.
- Experience in project management or a similar role.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
