The College of Information Technology at the Private University of Applied Sciences https://www.asu.edu.jo/ has entered into a licensing and cooperation agreement with Cyborg Automation Hub in Jordan, the regional authorized representative for the multinational company SS&C BluePrism. SS&C BluePrism is a leading provider of robotic process automation software, a field that has become crucial in the realm of artificial intelligence, with applications across ministries, government departments, businesses, and banks.
In partnership with Cyborg Automation Hub, the global company SS&C BluePrism will provide access to the Blue Prism Academy platform. This platform will allow faculty members and students to access educational materials related to robotic process automation and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the College of Information Technology will serve as a host for SS&C BluePrism experts on campus, providing them with a dedicated office for training students in robotic process automation techniques and overseeing related projects. Cyborg Automation Hub will be responsible for supervising the practical and applied training of students. This collaboration is anticipated to create significant employment opportunities for students in Jordan and other Arab countries.
Recognizing the significance of this agreement, Mr. David Wynne-Owen, who traveled from the United Kingdom, attended the signing ceremony in person. Mr. Wynne-Owen serves as the Vice President for the Middle East & Africa Region, based in the Dubai office. The agreement was signed by Mr. Odeh Mahmoud, CEO of Cyborg Automation Hub, and the Acting President of the University, Professor Saleh Al-Qodah.
