Job Summary:
The project manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.
Job Description:
- Oversee the onboarding of new client projects, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Lead daily stand-up meetings, reviews, and decision-making processes to promote effective adaptation and continuous improvement.
- Assist the Product Owner in refining and prioritizing the Product Backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined and actionable.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with clients to update them on project progress and gather any additional requirements.
- Utilize MS Project and Azure DevOps to manage, track, and report on both internal and client-facing project statuses and milestones.
- Organize and lead planning meetings, aligning with both internal development goals and client timelines.
- Mentor the development team in Agile methodologies, focusing on delivering high-quality features in each phase.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to select Product Backlog Items for each phase that align with client needs and are achievable within the given timeframe.
- Prepare and execute a comprehensive GO LIVE plan, coordinating with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep senior management, business stakeholders, and clients informed on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Liaise with resource managers to allocate and coordinate both internal and external project resources effectively.
- Prepare Customer Requests (CRs) and conduct meetings to facilitate the understanding and alignment of client needs, as well as the selection of services and products required for client implementations.
- Ensure all team activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
- Implement phase containment strategies, ensuring all deliverables meet both internal and client-agreed quality criteria.
- Maintain an updated list of project statuses, categorizing them as pending, active, closed, or on-hold, and ensure lessons learned are documented for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
- 4 – 6 Years work experience.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on project planning and management.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Experience with RPA is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage teams remotely.
